Tax season is upon us and there are a few key changes in 2022 – including this year’s deadline – but most are largely a result of pandemic-era tax legislation.

This year’s tax season begins Jan. 24 with a deadline of April 18, instead of the usual April 15. For residents of Maine and Massachusetts, the tax deadline is April 19 due to the Patriots’ Day holiday in both states.
